Only a few days before the fifth edition of the Komane Festival. This event dedicated to the short feature film is scheduled for 7 to 9 February in the town of Dschang, located in the western region of Cameroon.
This year, the organization chose Jean de Dieu Tchegnebe, better known under the pseudonym Man No lap, as strong face of the festival. He will bring his experience to the young filmmakers and aspirants to the cinema professions.
Jean de Dieu Tchegnebe was first revealed by his comic audio. In 1999, he released an audio album entitled “Easy Money”. At the time, these productions were broadcast by some urban radios of some cities such as Yaoundé and Douala. He then went on TV through series and movies.
Today he is not only an actor, director but also a producer. In 2014, he, for example, directed and produced the series “Love and Tradition”, which won third place at DISCOP AFRICA in the same year.
