It’s official, a sequel of our favorite movie; Coming to America, is in the works. Part 2 of ‘Coming to America’ will be titled ‘Coming 2 America.’ 
In ‘Coming 2 America’ Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy), now set to become king, discovers he has a son he never knew about – a street-savvy Queens native named Lavelle. Honoring his father’s dying wish to bring up his son as a new crowned prince, Akeem must return to America.
James Earl Jones will reprise his role as King Jaffe Joffer and Arsenio Hall will act out his role as Akeem’s friend; Semmi.
Shari Headley also returns to the movie as Lisa McDowell and the cast will be joined by some new faces, including Wesley Snipes(who will play General Izzi, ruler of a nation that neighbors the fictional Zamunda), Leslie Jones and Kiki Layne.
Craig Brewer will direct the film.
Coming 2 America is expected in theaters on December 18, 2020.
