A major broadcaster of Indian films Zee TV, recently announced the production of tv series reflecting the cultural aspects common to India and Africa. To better develop this project, the channel has opened offices in Rwanda. The launching of these productions is scheduled for April 2019

This strategic direction is not trivial. Africa was the first international market of Zee TV, where the group has been present since 1996 and currently has 12 channels.

Since Sunday, September 2, Zee Tv has launched Swahili dubbing in East Africa. The channel is considered to be the largest Indian television broadcaster and the leading broadcaster of Bollywood films in India and Africa. It has more than 242 000 hours of content and 3 500 movie titles.
