The 3rd edition of the Sotigui Awards will be held on December 01st, 2018 in Ouagadougou. The event, presented by the Sotigui Academy of African Cinematographic Arts and the diaspora, is going to have a special touch this year, thanks to a significant presence. John Kani, actor, director and playwright of South African origin is the guest of honour.
The awards ceremony of the actors for African cinema and its diaspora heats hard by unrolling its red carpet to one of the most successful African actors. In fact, John Kani incarnated the role of Black Panther’s father in the super production of the Marvel Studios “Captain America: Civil war”.
