Christmas Eve: Keep your makeup all evening
Its Christmas Eve tonight! You’ve been waiting on it for months, imagining how beautiful you would be in your ultra-chic outfit, on a night out with friends. You’ll probably have fun, laugh, and sweat but have you thought about how to stay beautiful all night? To not have to powder your face, here are some tips to take note of…
- Use powder
To make your makeup last, make sure you always set your makeup with a touch of powder, to help it stay in place longer.
- Wear your lipstick well
To have a lipstick that sticks after a glass of water, you have to apply it in layers when doing your makeup. First, line your lips with a lip liner, making a marked line to structure your lipstick and make it adhere more. Then apply your lipstick with a brush, passing several times with thin layers. Then end it all with a layer of pencil to redefine the whole lip do.
- Opt for waterproof mascara
No! No! You cannot take the risk of having the contour of eyes blackened by mascara at the slightest drop of sweat… Waterproof mascara holds longer than conventional formulas. However, if it is found to dry out the eyelashes, apply your mascara then seal with a layer of waterproof mascara.
- Set your Makeup
There are sprays specially conceived to enable make-up last longer. They are to makeup what the hairspray is to the hair. Once sprayed on the face, the makeover is kept in placed all evening without worries.
- Do not touch the face
When you’re done, avoid touch-ups, but most importantly, don’t touch your face too often. By so doing, the pigments will migrate and make the epidermis fat
